Tehran-SANA
Representatives of Iran's Islamic Consultative Assembly today gave Mehrdad Badrbash confidence as Minister of Roads and Cities Construction in the government of President Ebrahim Raisi.
Badrbash won the approval of 187 deputies, while 64 abstained from giving him confidence.
Badrbash, 41, is a graduate of Sharif University of Technology in the field of engineering and industrial production, and holds a Ph.D. in technology management from Al-Alam University.
It is noteworthy that Bazarbash came to succeed the former minister, Rustam Qasimi, who resigned for health reasons last November.
