Miesbach – Almost everyone knows the board game Monopoly.
A young administrative trainee has now made the classic game "official".
Ngoc-Nhi Phan, who was born in Straubing, is doing dual training to become a certified administrative assistant at the Miesbach District Office.
So that the monotonous memorization of the legal texts does not become too dry, she has thought of something as part of her project work.
The result was the board game Communopoly, based on the family game Monopoly.
Right from the start, it doesn't say "Pick in 200 euros" as usual, but rather "Put in" in a nutshell.
Instead of event cards like “You won a beauty pageant” it says “Hacker attack – you lose a notice” or “Fine notice – you receive a notice”.
Notices are point markers and, as required by the official process, they are sent by postal delivery document.
Whoever has the most points at the end wins.
Action cards such as "May the mayor express his personal opinion?" and "What is the mirror image requirement?" ask questions that Phan constantly accompanied during her studies at the university in Hof and her everyday work at the district office in Miesbach.
Phan has included many elements from municipal law in the Communopoly and implemented them lovingly and in detail with playing cards, letters and figures.
"The learning effect is simply higher with a game like this," stated Phan, who incidentally received 14 points for her work.
By the way, the goal at Kommunopoly is "Closing Time".
