Wang Junlin, a classmate in Form 3, was the designer. Because his grandfather had a stroke a few years ago and was unable to communicate normally, he came up with a design idea in the year of Primary 6. Until the year of Secondary 2, he collaborated with another student, Mak Yiu Man. Collaborate in the development and improvement of work design.
The "Elder Communication Pod" can be used in home or nursing home care, and can be installed next to the patient. Once the patient needs help, the sensor can send the help message to a display screen to remind the caregiver.
Wang said that he hopes that in the future, the sensor system can be directly connected to the mobile phone, which will be more convenient to use.
