These four reissues of collections are a good initiative, because it is not an official celebration.
We didn't wait for fifty years.
This is an opportunity to reread it or discover it.
For too long, it has not been misunderstood, but misread or misunderstood.
For multiple and bad reasons, in particular for lack of culture or political recovery.
As for his popularity, partly linked to the setting in songs of his poems… Frankly, Léo Ferré was much better inspired by Baudelaire or by Verlaine.
