A Lufthansa plane, which was on its way from Cape Town to Munich, had to make an emergency landing in Angola - the beginning of an odyssey for the passengers.
Munich – Actually, the Lufthansa A350 machine was supposed to fly from Cape Town directly to Munich last Saturday, December 3rd.
But that didn't happen - the plane had to make an emergency landing in Luanda, the capital of Angola.
The reason: "Technical irregularities in an engine display".
As
Stern
reports, this began the great chaos for many of the more than 270 people on board.

On the way to Munich: Lufthansa plane has to make an emergency landing in Africa - chaos for passengers
The emergency landing took place around 3 p.m. local time, and the fire brigade was already waiting for the machine on site.
It is also said that the passengers had to remain on the plane for several hours after landing because they could not show any entry documents.
Many of the passengers were then provisionally accommodated in nearby hotels.
According to Stern
reports, Lufthansa
finally organized return flights.
A family with three children is said to have been offered December 12 as the earliest return flight option.

Only recently there were problems on a long-haul Lufthansa flight on the way to Munich. The machine had to return to the runway twice. Ryanair flight FR 2159 was also supposed to take off from Nuremberg to Palma de Mallorca at around 5 p.m. However, six men delayed the departure due to their behavior - and flew overboard.
