Naftali Bennett went on a campaign of lawsuits this week.
In the words he wrote on his Telegram channel "Naftali Bennett - together we will win" (who?), Bennett wrote: "The network cleaning program is underway: today the first lawsuit was filed, for half a million shekels..."
As part of the project, which the former prime minister referred to as a project to eliminate the poison machine and clean up the public discourse, he formed a team of investigators and lawyers whose goal is to act against the culture of poison and fake news prevalent on the networks in Israel.
This team collected and organized materials over a period of time, and prepared a comprehensive plan that will be gradually implemented in the near future.
"I am not fighting for myself, but for everyone who wishes to correct the public discourse in Israel," Bennett wrote.
Much has been written about this move by Bennett.
There were those who called it "pathetic", "low", "petty", "a product of boredom" - everything is true.
Some said he was fighting for his "honor".

His few supporters will take the issue of "respect" elsewhere, and say that there is an informed decision here to clean the discourse in the State of Israel of polluting factors - a natural step for the one who headed the "change" government that failed.
But none of this will hide the fact that, above all, the insight resonates that the "net cleaning program" that Naftali Bennett embarked on - is a product of the lack of internalization.
Bennett simply did not face, until today, how much the decision he made made him irrelevant and assigned in terms of the national camp.
Because the implicit claim in Bennett's decision is that he thinks his condition is fixable.
Bennett - a generally rational man, so they want us to think - believes that the reason for his situation is not the essence of what he did, but the way other people framed him and his character.
As far as he is concerned, the public does not like him not because of his political choice, nor because of his performance as prime minister - but because tweeters on the net, some with a wide circulation and some less so, wrote things about him that caused the Israeli public in general, and his voters in particular, to despise him.
If only he would make those twits, who brainwashed the national camp and made him see him as an excess, to retract their harsh and false words about him - or then the national camp and the people of Israel will realize what a diamond they had in their hands.
This is a recurring motif in Bennett.
Aryeh Deri previously told how he was shocked when Bennett believed to himself that his speech at the UN would change the policies of the countries of the world towards Israel. Bennett spoke at the UN and nothing changed - and he will sue tweeters and nothing will change.
Surely our readers remember Bennett's story, according to which, when he made the decision to go about forming the government with Lapid, he gathered his children and said that he would be the most hated person in Israel.
He didn't tell them that because he thought Bibi's "poison machine" would cause it - he said it because he knew that his move would lead to anger, disappointment, disgust and a host of other negative emotions.
Today he does not try to deal with those feelings, but to attack the symptom - only some of the voices that expressed disgust and disgust, and probably exaggerated a bit.
But even if those tweeters ask for a public apology and retract the things they slammed him for in the past, there is no chance in the world that it will change anyone's opinion about Naftali Bennett - neither on the right nor on the left.
