With the aim of empowering the Arabic language, which is one of the priorities of the Ministry of Culture, the Arab Cultural Center in Beit Yashout organized a literary lecture entitled (Our Beautiful Language, Creativity and Composition) by the literary researcher Ali Ibrahim.
In his lecture, Ibrahim drew attention to the need to increase interest in the Arabic language in schools, universities and various concerned places, through the development of curricula and research, making them suitable for modern sciences and educating generations to be able to master this language, love it and attach to it.
Ibrahim indicated that the Arabic language is rich in vocabulary, and bears many meanings, in addition to its sweetness and harmony, pointing to the relationship of vocabulary to meanings and its high ability to express them due to the breadth of its vocabulary and the multiple connotations of those vocabulary.
Ibrahim pointed out that the Arabic language is one of the ancient languages that still continues today, although most of these languages have become obsolete, because Arabic is characterized by characteristics that make it different and viable, the most important of which is the property of syntax, and that it is the broadest of languages in the rules of grammar, morphology and the science of meanings, as one word has dozens. The words that denote it, in addition to being the language of the Holy Qur’an, which is spread in most parts of the earth.
Ibrahim drew attention to the aesthetics of that language and its ability to harmonize with the literary arts of poetry, story and novel, and that it possesses malleable vocabulary that is in harmony with poetic music and is able to express the human potential and inner self, in addition to its ability to intensify and express meanings with the least vocabulary, which makes it the most beautiful and creative language.
