In a musical evening organized by the Sabah Fakhri Institute for Singing and Music in Aleppo, in cooperation with the Directorate of Education, the students of the institute performed a classic night at the Artists Syndicate stage.
18 male and female students from the Sabah Fakhri Institute, with their elaborate and academic playing on musical instruments such as guitar, violin, flute, and piano, moved between pieces and international melodies, taking the audience to captivating worlds of classical melodies.
Anas Sabah Fakhri, Undersecretary for Scientific and Artistic Affairs at the Institute, explained to SANA reporter that, based on the belief in the importance of music in general in life, and in particular for the city of Aleppo due to its uniqueness in the style of Al Qudud Aleppine music, the Institute emphasized its support for the musical cultural movement.
The student, Duaa Abu Rasheed, expressed her passion and love for playing the guitar, indicating that music helps build personality, arrange ideas, and adhere to civilized principles and values.
Hania, a guitarist who works in the management of the Sabah Fakhri Institute, saw in music a language that tells about the civilization of a homeland, in addition to giving a person a sense of optimism and nourishing the soul with what is beautiful, pointing to the participation of 18 male and female students in playing international musical compositions with a perfect performance through an academic study.
The student, Walaa Binnish, said: She is trying to communicate high feelings by playing musical pieces, in addition to that playing generates positive energy in her to overcome all that obstructs her in life.
Student Ali Suleiman stated that he has a passion and enthusiasm for playing classical compositions, so he chose the guitar to be his favorite instrument, explaining that he joined the band two years ago, and prefers to play the polka piece because it includes melodies that are characterized by movement, activity, and repetition.
