The police arrested another suspect today (Wednesday) in the shooting incident at a Lamborghini vehicle on Route 6 that happened two days ago.
Last night the police arrested the first suspect in involvement in the incident.
The other suspect is a resident of Ramla in his 30s.
He was caught while hiding in the bushes in an open area in the Batia memorial area.
The police intend to bring him tomorrow, in accordance with the needs of the investigation, to the court in Bras'lat with a request to extend his detention.
They drove through a checkpoint and shot at the passengers
A preliminary investigation shows that a Lamborghini vehicle, in which two people, who were not the owners of the vehicle, were traveling, and who were on their way from north to south, was stopped at an improvised checkpoint at the Ben Shemen interchange.
The two apparently thought it was a police checkpoint, but it turned out that the checkpoint was set up by two members of the squad that was sent to carry out the assassination.
When the vehicle stopped, two suspects approached, opened the doors and began to attack them.
They left the place and returned again a short time later, and fired from a short range at the car's passengers and fled the place on a motorcycle.
