The Youth Democratic Alliance for the Betterment of Hong Kong released a blueprint proposal for youth development today (7th), putting forward a number of proposals, including optimizing national education, establishing a history museum of the Communist Party of China, preparing for the construction of a permanent memorial hall for the history of the War of Resistance Against Japan, allowing Hong Kong people to join the army, and specifying a youth committee for the consultation structure ratio, the establishment of a youth impact assessment mechanism, the expansion of associate degree graduates to study in the Mainland, etc.

Liu Yi, vice chairman of the Youth Democratic Alliance for the Betterment of Hong Kong, believes that the government should optimize the curriculum of junior high school education and advocate the inclusion of the history of the Communist Party of China in the curriculum structure. In addition, in order to strengthen the comprehensive understanding of modern history by young people, it is proposed to establish a museum of the history of the Communist Party of China and a permanent memorial hall for the history of the War of Resistance Against Japan .
He also urged the authorities to implement the testing requirements of the Basic Law and the Hong Kong National Security Law for public school teachers as soon as possible.
Chung Soo-hyun, vice-chairman of the Youth Democratic Alliance for the Betterment of Hong Kong, hopes to encourage young people to participate in public affairs. He suggested that at least 15% of the youth committee members should be stipulated in each advisory structure. At the same time, a youth impact assessment mechanism should be established to consider the impact of policies on young people when designing policies.
She also pays attention to the living and property needs of young people, and suggests that the government waive the property stamp duty for first-time home buyers, increase youth dormitories, and determine the rent of youth dormitories with reference to single-person public housing.

Zhong Jianfeng, vice chairman of the Youth Democratic Alliance for the Betterment of Hong Kong, said that the team focused on interviewing 12 young people, visited the Hong Kong Policy Research Institute and the Youth Office, and combined with the research results of Hong Kong youth issues in the past few years, formulated this blueprint proposal. and the Youth Affairs Bureau collect opinions in different ways.

He believes that the proposal will attract the attention of the authorities. He hopes that the government will release the blueprint as scheduled and gradually implement the proposal next year.
