Norman Deheulle should have gone last weekend to the famous Alsatian Christmas market. It was without counting on the dishonesty of a fa

“I blame this crook.

He deprived us of the magic of Christmas!

“Six days after his missed appointment with the Christmas market in Colmar, Norman Deheulle is not losing his temper.

This inhabitant of Lillebonne (Seine-Maritime) had planned to spend the weekend of December 1 in the city of Bartholdi to enjoy, with the family, the ambient magic.

“I am a regular at the Christmas market in Colmar and I wanted to take my 5 and 12 year old daughters there as well as part of my family,” says the 37-year-old Norman.

From August, Norman posts an ad on the Leboncoin site to find a rental for 11 people.

“Quickly, a man named Jérôme Michon contacted me to offer me a large apartment in the city center of Colmar.

In the same email, photos of the house are sent to me, which reassures me,” explains the father of the family.

Especially since the price is attractive: 600 euros for three nights, as well as 40 euros deposit.

1500 euros lost

“At the end of the summer, I made a first payment of 300 euros, then a second of the same amount ten days before leaving for Alsace.

What started to worry me was when the owner asked me to pay the deposit, which suddenly went from 40 to 400 euros,” recalls Norman Deheulle.

His sister runs to pay the deposit but the exchanges continue to be done only by email.

Appointment is made for the handing over of the keys on November 30, Norman and his ten friends set off for Colmar.

After seven and a half hours of travel, the merry troop finally arrives in Alsace, but no trace of "Jérôme Michon"!

“I made many calls but my phone number was blocked by my interlocutor.

I realized then that I had been scammed.

Norman Deheulle will then end up filing a complaint before falling back on a rental near a fishing pond in the Territoire de Belfort.

“In the end, we saw nothing of the Colmar Christmas market and we lost 1,500 euros,” confides, disgusted, this petrochemical fitter.
