We, parliamentarians, local elected officials, of all generations and embodying several sensitivities of the right, have chosen to support the candidacy of Éric Ciotti for the presidency of the Republicans.
Some of us have done so since the start, impressed by the clarity of the words and the strength of the convictions of Éric Ciotti during the 2021 primary. Others of us joined him more recently and, for some, since Sunday evening after having supported Aurélien Pradié, because we have a vocation to unite behind the candidate who knew how to create a real momentum of victory by coming very far ahead of the votes with nearly 43% of the votes.
Eric, it is the right that wins, he made us win a majority of LR deputies in his department, the Alpes-Maritimes.
To reconnect with victory, we choose a man who not only opposes Emmanuel Macron but who also wins the right.
