The cutting of the willows on the Kienbach really got the call for tree protection and green planning going at the beginning of this year.
Since then, every felling has been carefully scrutinized.

Green order in Herrsching is getting more weight: in the budget consultation on Monday there will also be a vote on whether environmental officer Franziska Kalz gets a colleague.
The municipality also brings in experts on the topics of the environment and energy.
Herrsching
- In order to take the tension out of the emotional debate about tree protection in the municipality of Herrsching, the municipal council had already spoken out in favor of a green planning concept in May.
At the time, Green Party Councilor Anke Rasmussen suggested that the existing Environment Working Group, similar to the Transport Working Group, be assigned an expert.
This should happen now, just as in the upcoming budget consultation on Monday, December 12th, a decision will be made about an additional part-time position for the environment department in the town hall.
This is evident from the template for the meeting.
In the penultimate meeting of the municipal council, three offices were presented to the municipal council in the non-public part.
Two weeks ago, the councilors decided on the non-public contract award for the NRT office community landscape architects, urban planners and engineers from Marzling, which the municipal council is already familiar with from the planning for the high school in Mühlfeld, according to Mayor Christian Schiller in an interview with Starnberger Merkur.
At the beginning of the year, Dietmar Narr, for whom the N in NRT stands, will present himself and his idea for a concept publicly.
Schiller speaks of a "chewing for the green in the village".

Ralf Kaulen has been the community's traffic planner for many years.
The existing environment working group will thus become a counterpart to the transport working group.
"Otherwise we would not have made progress," says Schiller, who is also looking forward to the reinforcement in the environmental department in the municipal building administration.
Next Monday, the municipal council will decide on this support for the environmental officer Franziska Kalz in the upcoming budget deliberations (start: 7 p.m.).
A half-time position is therefore planned.
The invitation to tender follows a visit by a representative of the Chamber of Architects, who takes a closer look at the topic of energy in the community.
The intersection of the green planning concept and energy decides whether the additional force should be a geographer, biologist or an "administrator", says Schiller.
The transport working group is doing well with the support from the administration.
Schiller: "In any case, we want to start with the green planning concept quickly." According to the mayor, this should be worked out with citizen participation, for example in workshops.
He himself is excited: "It's a huge playground."
