Unknown people deflated the tires of several SUVs in Haar.

The police are assuming a politically motivated crime.

Haar - Police say the perpetrators struck multiple locations in the community sometime between Monday, December 5, at 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, December 6, at 9:45 a.m.

According to the current status, a total of eleven cases are known.

All of the tires on the affected vehicles were deflated.

The property damage amounts to around 200 euros per vehicle.

The police assume that the perpetrators are left-wing activists.

Because a note was left on the vehicles, which gives conclusions about the group responsible for the flat tires.

Activists leave letters of confession

Specifically, according to the police, the notes say "The Tire Extinguishers".

Translated from English, this means something like “The tire extinguishers”.

This is the name of an international group of climate activists fighting against the use of SUVs because they believe they are particularly harmful to the environment.

The police speak of a criminal offense relevant to state security.

The police have started the investigation and are asking for information from the public.

Offense reminiscent of climate Kramperl

The incident is reminiscent of the so-called climate Kramperl.

A year ago, on St. Nicholas Day, the activists let the air out of several SUVs parked in downtown Munich and left a note on the windshield.

"Beware of flat tires!

The Krampus has temporarily disabled your car!” it read.

In addition, the information that the respective car consumes too many resources and too much space in the city.

In addition, the threat that Krampus comes back every year and is not known for becoming nicer over time.
