An incident in Israel:

A suspected car thief who attacked two people this evening (Thursday) and slightly injured them inside the airport area. The police are conducting scans.

The police have launched a search for a suspect in the theft of a car from a parking lot in Netav, while lightly assaulting the drivers of the car. 

According to the suspicion, the two, aged 28 and 48, were attacked while driving the vehicle from a remote parking lot towards the gates of the terminal's landing hall.

The police stated that "the vehicle left the area of ​​the Netavg region, and therefore scans are currently being carried out for it on the by-pass routes, including traffic on roads 1, 40, 443 and 6. The Netavg region investigators have begun an investigation, in the framework of which they are now collecting testimonies from the two victims and the owners of the vehicle, Along with collecting documentary findings and the like."

As you may remember, this is the second incident this week in Netherberg. Last Sunday, Airport Authority security guards stopped a stolen vehicle in Netherberg that broke through the checkpoint.

The driver, an illegal resident, was shot by one of the security guards and was slightly injured.
