Today, the Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor in Daraa Governorate organized an open day on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities in the Safehah Aman Park in the Al-Kashif neighborhood of the city, with the participation of volunteers from NGOs.

The open day included entertainment activities and artistic segments presented by students of the Institutes of Hearing and Intellectual Disabilities, where the children performed dances and dances to the tunes of songs from the Hourani heritage, and training by Kawthar Masalmeh and Naglaa Al-Kafri.

Parents of children with disabilities expressed their joy at this event, which would bring joy to the hearts of their children, pointing to the positive repercussions in the areas of developing talents and skills and contributing to the integration of children into society.

The Director of Social Affairs and Labor, Nibal Hariri, explained in her speech that the Directorate is working to integrate people with disabilities with their peers by educating and training them through a specialized team.

The activities of the open day were attended by the Governor of Daraa, Eng. Louay Khareta, the Secretary of the Daraa branch of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, Hussein Al-Rifai, and the provincial police commander, Brigadier General Abdel-Alim Abdel-Hamid.
