Climate activists paralyze parts of Munich airport

A runway has to be closed at Munich Airport.
According to a spokesman, climate activists have stuck to the runway.

Munich – At Munich Airport, climate activists have apparently ensured that one of the two runways has to be closed.
As a spokesman for the airport confirmed to the
dpa
news agency , several activists from the group "Last Generation" stuck to the runway in the north of the airport.
Severe disruptions to air traffic are to be expected.
In the short message service Twitter, the group "Last Generation" confessed to the action.
According to a tweet by the group, they were both “stuck” at Munich Airport.
“We are directly opposed to the causes of the climate catastrophe.
Where are at least the first safety measures like a speed limit or a €9 ticket?” the group continues.

At least three activists glued to the runway at Munich Airport can be seen in pictures published by the “Last Generation” on Twitter.
"The police were informed beforehand," the group announces and continues: "There is no danger from us - from the deadly policy of the federal government, however, it is!"
Recently, the "Last Generation" carried out a similar campaign at the airport in Berlin.
There, too, air traffic was severely disrupted and temporarily paralyzed by activists glued to the runway.
