As revealed yesterday in "Israel Hayom", Ben Gvir sent a letter to Beharev Miara, in which he claimed that the commissioner and the minister of internal security are carrying out "a secret appointment of senior police officers on the eve of the new government's entry".

In the letter, the contents of which have reached us, Ben Gvir claimed that his appeal came "following the very problematic conduct that is taking place these days in the Ministry of Internal Security, at a time when there is an attempt to commit abductions and present the designated Minister of National Security in front of fait accompli."

The legal adviser to the government rejected all of Ben Gvir's requests, but criticized the appointment of the commander of the Iosh area in the Mageb.

Despite the criticism, she stated that she would not interfere with the appointment since it had already been signed and approved: "Indeed, as stated in the ruling of the Supreme Court and according to the guidance of the consultant, there is room for restraint."

The consultant believes that the appointments that have been made have already come into effect and the legal intervention in them is limited, however, at the same time, the consultant states regarding the central appointment, the commander of the IOSH MGB region that "it is a sensitive appointment and that the appointment was made on December 6th - close to the appointment of the new government This is a significant difficulty and there was a place to conduct an in-depth legal examination regarding it and bring it before the ombudsman before the decision on it."

At the same time, the consultant stated that for now she will not interfere with the appointment, since the appointment has already been signed.
