Big crowds: The Dietramszell Advent stand on the newly designed forecourt by the church was well received right away.

Various clubs run a stand on the Dietramszell church forecourt during Advent.
The citizens are excited.
Dietramszell - It was a premiere that everyone liked in the truest sense of the word: For the first time on the first Sunday of Advent, the "Dietramszell Advent Stand" was presented to the community after the service - and the citizens were enthusiastic.
They stood together in small groups over a good drink, chatted with each other – and praised the action.
Mulled wine, punch and meat loaf rolls
Dean Thomas Neuberger came up with the idea of offering mulled wine, punch and meat loaf from a cart.
"I know such Advent stalls from other places," he reports.
"And so I proposed the idea to the parish council and the mayor." So far there has always been a nativity scene exhibition or market in Dietramszell, but it was "almost impossible for bureaucratic and organizational reasons to continue like this".
And there is also the new church forecourt.
Neuberger: “It simply has to be stimulated.
It's a wonderful place to meet up here."
Loan from the partnership association
The car itself is on loan from the partnership association.
“First we considered setting up a wooden booth,” says Neuberger.
"But the car is equipped with sockets, a sink, refrigerator and worktops." He is therefore very grateful for this offer.
The concept is simple: Dietramszell associations, schools, kindergartens and the parish can apply for dates on which they want to “manage” the stand on their own responsibility.
"Everyone makes their own purchases, accounts and decides what will happen with the proceeds."
There is no shortage of interested parties
There is no shortage of interested parties.
From the cultural association to the Montessori school, from the kindergarten to the fire brigade and the traditional costume association - they have all already secured fixed appointments, not just on the weekends.

One of the ulterior motives of the Advent car campaign is to get people talking to each other - a wonderful mixture of the peace that the church conveys and to offer a little refreshment and a speech on the forecourt.
"Therefore always a fixed stand: right in front of the church portal," says the priest.
And what about the car in summer?
You can see him again at the Dietramszeller Lehards - as a sales stand for the partnership association.
