Fire at the Tegernsee hotel construction site ends lightly

A fire broke out on Thursday afternoon (December 8) at the hotel construction site on Hochfeldstrasse in Tegernsee.
Luckily, the incident didn't end well.
Tegernsee
– The fire was triggered by a construction worker (62) who was doing welding work on the construction site around 2:20 p.m. near the facade of the new hotel building.
According to the police, the flames from the welding machine caused a small fire on the substructure of the house facade.
However, the construction workers noticed the flames immediately and were able to extinguish them immediately with the help of a colleague.
The fire brigade Tegernsee, who came with four vehicles, removed the facade parts to prevent the fire from spreading.
The Bavarian Red Cross (BRK) was also on site with three vehicles as a precaution.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
Police estimate the damage to property at around $3,000.
