The company "Ortner Anlagentechnik GmbH" wants to relocate its location from Munich to Penzberg and set up its own production in the Nonnenwald.

In the final stage, the plant will have 150 jobs.

This became known on the sidelines of the building committee meeting on Tuesday evening.

Penzberg – The plant manufacturer from Munich wants to settle in Penzberg on a property west of Roche and north of the printing center.

The company has already bought the part of the municipal property on Robert-Koch-Strasse.

The building application, which was dealt with by the building committee on Tuesday evening, shows that a production hall for systems engineering and a three-storey office building are to be built there.

Location moves from Munich to Penzberg

Benjamin Blaschek.

Member of the management at "Ortner Anlagentechnik" personally followed the committee meeting on Tuesday.

After that, at the request of the local newspaper, he was willing to say a few sentences about the settlement.

Accordingly, the Munich location - it is located on Albert-Roßhaupter-Strasse - will move completely to Penzberg.

At the same time, the company is expanded to include production.

According to Blaschek, there has only been one planning and construction area at the Munich location.

The systems are manufactured by other companies.

That should change after the move to Penzberg.

In the Nonnenwald, "Ortner Anlagentechnik" wants to set up its own production in addition to the planning and construction area.

According to Blaschek, the company's fields of activity are plant construction for the pharmaceutical industry and building technology.

150 jobs in the final stage

The move should be completed by the end of 2023 - "if we have our way," explained Blaschek.

What, however, is a "sporting plan", as he added.

According to him, the Penzberg site will have 150 jobs in the final phase: plant mechanics, engineers and technicians as well as industrial employees.

The proximity to the Roche factory is no coincidence.

The future neighbor is a customer.

"We work a lot for Roche," says Blaschek.

"Ortner Anlagentechnik GmbH" was founded in Munich in 2003.

According to her own description, she has already equipped parts of the Paulaner brewery's production facilities and was involved in the construction of FC Bayern's training center.

The Munich location belongs to the Austrian family company “Ortner”, which was established in Innsbruck in 1903.

"Ortner" itself also belongs to "IGO Industries", a group of technology companies that are active in technical building equipment and industrial plant construction.

The Penzberg building committee unanimously approved the necessary changes to the development plan for the settlement and the building application.

The company was released from the obligation to build an underground car park or a multi-storey car park.

The company will be located in part of the area that several companies have been interested in in the past, including Marvel Fusion.
