The judicial authorities in Iran announced that the death sentence issued against a person who had blocked Sattar Khan Street in the capital, Tehran, was executed today.
The media center of the Iranian judiciary said that Mohsen Shakari, who closed Sattar Khan Street in Tehran last September, was executed and one of the security guards was beaten with a machete.
In a related context, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court in Fars Province, southern Iran, Sayed Kazem Mousavi, announced the issuance of an indictment against 5 people in the case of the terrorist attack on the shrine of Ahmed bin Musa Al-Kadhim in the city of Shiraz last October.
Mousavi said in a statement today that this case will be decided in the first division of the Shiraz court quickly, explaining that among the charges against the five defendants are conspiracy against the security of the country, membership in the terrorist organization “ISIS” and membership in a rebel group.
