Iranian security forces announced the arrest of three members of a terrorist cell linked to riots and vandalism in the northwestern city of Ardabil.
And the intelligence of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard said in a statement today: “After cyber surveillance and serious investigations, a unit of the Revolutionary Guards managed to arrest three members of a terrorist cell in the city of Ardabil who incite to form gatherings, stir up riots, destroy public property and burn government institutions with homemade bombs.” The detainees are in close contact with hostile media, and they spread lies to destabilize the security of citizens and create terror and fear among them.
Iran witnessed riots and vandalism carried out by groups incited and supported by external forces, which, according to the Iranian National Security Council of the Ministry of Interior, claimed the lives of more than 200 people.
