Life imprisonment for the murder of a neighbor

The regional court in Mainz on Thursday sentenced a 22-year-old man to life imprisonment for the murder of his neighbor.
The Chamber found the previously convicted defendant guilty.
The verdict was for murder combined with robbery resulting in death.
Mainz – According to the verdict, the accused, who was a German citizen, killed the roommate in the apartment building in the Laubenheim district of Mainz with a knife in order to get to the 41-year-old woman's car.
That's why he attacked her in her apartment early in the morning in April of this year.
Although he did not have a driver's license, the man then drove the car to an internet acquaintance near Marburg.
Another neighbor who heard disturbing noises from the apartment during the crime called the police when she saw the perpetrator driving away in his car.
The defendant did not comment on the crime at the trial.
