The annual MVV timetable change is scheduled for the weekend.

With him, some bus lines in the Würmtal go back to regular operation.

For others, the thinned out replacement timetables continue to apply.

Würmtal

– Every year in December the timetable changes at Deutsche Bahn and thus also at MVV.

Next Sunday, December 11th, it will be that time again when the new timetable will apply.

In the Würmtal, the bus routes 267, 906, 949, 966 and the S 6 are affected by changes.

The MVV does not want to fundamentally thin out the offer in the Würmtal.

Recently there have been repeated short-term timetable changes and cancellations, as the MVV was struggling with an acute shortage of bus drivers.

The situation has not calmed down yet.

"The driver shortage is an industry-wide problem that continues," said a spokeswoman for the MVV.

Replacement timetables therefore continue to apply on some lines, for example on the 259 and 265. The replacement timetables for lines 936, 949, 965 and 968, on the other hand, will expire on Saturday, December 10th.

There are also changes that have nothing to do with the current driver shortage: Line 267 from Altenburgstraße via Lochham and Martinsried to Fürstenried West was switched back in September.

Since then, the buses have also been going to the new "Trimburgstraße" stop, which is located on Brunhamstraße.

Line 906 from Gauting via the KIM to Planegg West will no longer go to Unterbrunn.

The previous trip on school days at 11.35 a.m. from Gauting to Unterbrunn will not be canceled without replacement, it will be taken over by route 966 in future.

And something else is new there: On Saturdays, the range of trips between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. will be rearranged.

This creates a uniform cycle between Planegg and Waldsanatorium/KIM, according to the MVV.

Line 949 from Gilching-Argelsried to Gauting will in future run five minutes later on Sundays and public holidays.

All departures on these days are delayed by five minutes.

This creates a transfer option from the express bus line X900 from Fürstenfeldbruck to the regional bus 949 in Gilching-Argelsried.

The previously mentioned route 966 from Oberbrunn via Gauting and Krailling to Planegg will in future offer a new service in the morning.

"Thus, a better timed offer is created between Planegg and Waldsanatorium/KIM," says the MVV.

There is also a change to the S-Bahn: the S 6 will run Monday to Friday from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. between Tutzing and Grafing station continuously every 20 minutes.

As far as the further course of the line is concerned: The section between Grafing station and Ebersberg is also used every 20 minutes, but twice an hour by the S 6, once by the regional train line RB 48.
