The gospel concert in the parish church in Olching was a complete success - although there were some fears in advance that the visitors could stay away.

The organizer – the Kolping Family – reports this.

Olching – Over 600 visitors came to the concert.

And that despite the fact that the World Cup was running at the same time and the corona pandemic is still circulating.

For the second time, the Munich choir "Gospels at Heaven" delivered a brilliant performance, according to the organizer.

The 52 singers and musicians, under the direction of the new, young choirmaster Moritz Külbs, had noticed the pandemic-related withdrawal from the stage.

They produced their gospels with so much power and vigor that many visitors were literally ripped off their benches.

But there were also quieter phases where jazz sounds flowed in, for example in "Bridge over troubled water".

Only after almost two hours did the choir strike up the final notes.

And if the Kolping Family has its way, not for the last time.

One hopes for another guest performance at Nöscherplatz.
