Penzberg – A woman from Penzberg (82) let her food burn on the stove.
The woman then had to be freed from the smoke-filled apartment by the fire department.
A woman from Penzberg (49) informed the police on Tuesday (December 6) about a smoke detector alarm in an apartment on Ludwig-März-Strasse.
After the police were able to hear the alarm, the officers tried to open the apartment door with a locking hook.
They were hit with heavy smoke.
Due to the dangerous situation, the police officers kicked in the door and found a helpless woman from Penzberg (82) lying on the sofa.
After the police took the woman out of the apartment, she was handed over to the emergency services.
The Penzberg fire brigade then took care of the smoky apartment.
Food burned on the stove, police said.
There was no fire damage in the building.
After the fire brigade had ventilated the apartment, it was released again.
The elderly lady stayed and was then able to return to her apartment.
In the further course, their informed children took care of the 82-year-old.
