Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have apparently forgotten their promise of wanting to live climate-neutral.
They went to New York in a private jet.
A waiting SUV took them from the airport to the city.
New York – When renowned prizes are waiting, Meghan Markles (41) and Prince Harry (38) with their full-bodied promise of wanting to live climate-neutral, apparently – and not for the first time – no longer take it quite so seriously.
For the "Ripple of Hope" gala, where the Sussexes were presented with a prize for the "fight against racism", they cheerfully took the private jet from Montecito to the Big Apple.

Instead of being content with a scheduled flight, the ducal couple climbed into a thick waiting SUV at the airport to be transported to the city, as many fan accounts quickly discovered.
The jet setter wore an all-black outfit and large sunglasses, while her 38-year-old husband wore a white button-down shirt and black trousers.
Also ethically questionable: the super-rich can buy a seat at the gala at horrendous package prices.

Packages starting at $500,000 were also available for the "smaller purse".
They include access to a VIP reception where photographers are said to be snapping the The Duke and Queen of Sussex with the event's key benefactors.

The gala is organized by the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Foundation, named after President Kennedy's younger brother, who was assassinated in 1968.
