Tegernsee – The Tegernsee Science Days have been a fixed date for science lovers for 20 years.
Now a book brings that time back to life.
With the end of the Tegernsee Science Days, an era of curious questions and discoveries also ends.
Most of the time, however, scientific fairs are major events where only the results are revealed.
This leaves little time and space for thinking and asking questions.
But that is exactly what Marc-Denis Weitze wanted when he created the first Tegernsee Science Days.
The book "The Mountains, the Monastery and Science - Nature and Technology in the Tegernsee Valley" takes the reader on an expedition over the past two decades in the fields of science, geology, monastery history, tourism research and ornithology.
The essays review the Science Days and at the same time provide an interesting outlook into the future of the Tegernsee Valley.
The book is available in local shops or directly from the “kleineheimat Verlag”.
