“The RFEF have chosen Luis de la Fuente as their new national coach.
Sports director José Francisco Molina has submitted a report to President Luis Rubiales where he recommends choosing the technician from La Rioja (northern Spain, editor's note), (...) to carry out the new stage which begins after the World Cup in Qatar,” said the Spanish federation.
De La Fuente's appointment, however, will need to be ratified by the Spanish FA's management committee on Monday.
