In a special draw, a man (49) from Middle Franconia won the lottery – with only three correct numbers.
Nuremberg - "It is not yet known whether a player from Central Franconia at the age of 49 is still putting his boots outside the door to have Santa fill them with sweets." This is how Lotto Bayern's latest press release begins.
According to the organization, one thing is certain: the man can celebrate December 6th as a millionaire - and with only three correct ones.

At this event, he qualified to take part in the special draw because he had ticked three correct winning numbers within a betting field.
The result: the Middle Franconian can look forward to exactly one million euros.
Two friends persuaded him to participate in the Eurojackpot. The trio from Bavaria won - and the 46-year-old woke his friends up in the middle of the night with the news of the win.

Background: "In the nationwide special St. Nicholas draw of the draws on November 30th and December 3rd, the additional prizes of 3 x 1,000,000 euros and 1,000 x 1,000 euros were raffled nationwide without additional stakes," says the lottery -Press release.
All game orders that took part in these draws in LOTTO 6aus49 and achieved a prize in prize class 8 (3 correct winning numbers) in these draws were eligible to participate.
