The branch of the Syrian Trade Corporation in Daraa governorate offered quantities of sugar and oil for sale directly to citizens, according to the electronic card.
The director of the institution’s branch, Eng. Omar al-Saadi, explained in a statement to SANA’s reporter today that the branch distributed 900 tons of sugar for sale to citizens directly, at the price of 4,600 Syrian pounds per kilogram, and about 50,000 liters of vegetable oil for sale at a price of 14,000 Syrian pounds per liter.
And Al-Saadi indicated that the institution’s branch has completed the distribution of subsidized rice according to the electronic card to citizens, and is awaiting the arrival of additional quantities of sugar to finish the distribution in the current session, indicating that the governorate’s need to include all citizens with sugar amounts to 800 tons.
Al-Saadi indicated that the institution’s branch, within the framework of the expansion of halls and sales outlets, and in order to reduce the burden on citizens, announced the readiness to work in the outlets of Araba, Al-Sahwa, Al-Naimah, Ain Dhikr and Al-Quniyah, and the actual start will take place as soon as quantities of subsidized sugar arrive, pointing out that the branch has a plan for expansion. And the launch of work in new outlets in the towns of Busra al-Harir, Deir al-Adas, Zimrin, and al-Soura, with the onset of the new year.
