The four private cars then returned to East Kowloon via the Eastern Submarine Tunnel, returned to New Territories South via the Kwun Tong Bypass, Ching Cheung Road and Kwai Chung Road, and were stopped at Tsuen Wan Road.

According to the police, the four private cars drove at high speed on many main arterial roads and mountain roads in the New Territories, Kowloon and Hong Kong Island.
