In the background of reports of an ongoing conflict between the designated minister and Saturn, the latter arrived at the celebrations of Ben Gabir's daughter. Several media outlets recently reported on an argument between the two over the appointment of police officers, and earlier tensions broke out between the two following the issue of Ben Gabir's ascension to the Temple Mount

Police Commissioner Kobi Shabtai arrived today (Thursday) for the Bat Mitzvah celebrations of the daughter of minister-designate Itamar Ben Gabir. This, against the background of reports of a conflict between the two, following the appointment of officers, which Ben Gabir sought to delay.

Last month Shabtai and Ben Gabir met, pressed hands and sat side by side at the ceremony of launching an emergency vehicle of the Ihud Hatzla organization in memory of the warfighter Noam Raz.

There is a lot of tension between the two, after Shabtai accused Ben Gabir of igniting the riots in the wall guard and he, on the other hand, called for his dismissal.

The tension between the two has been going on for a long time.

Last June, Knesset officer-in-charge Yosef Greif informed Ben Gabir that the police had decided not to allow him to go up to the Temple Mount in the days after Shavuot.

This, after intelligence and Shin Bet officials warned that the move could with a high degree of certainty set the area on fire and provoke riots throughout the country, and could even lead to damage to the state's security.
