Third smuggling thwarting in a week: IDF fighters thwarted drug smuggling worth about NIS 900,000 in the Paran Brigade area.
IDF surveillance identified a short time ago a number of suspects who tried to smuggle drugs into Israeli territory in the area of the Paran regional division.
The IDF soldiers who were rushed to the scene thwarted the smuggling, seized and confiscated about 22 kg of drugs with an estimated value of about NIS 900,000.
The drugs were transferred to the Israel Police for further processing.
This is the third smuggling thwarting in the past week in Division 80. In two of the smuggling operations, the smugglers and drugs worth approximately NIS 25 million were caught.
