The final season of “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” will run from January 14, 2023.

Dieter Bohlen returns as a juror.

But the premiere shares the airtime with the new hit show with Florian Silbereisen.

Leipzig – Without "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" and pop titan Dieter Bohlen (68) you can no longer imagine the television landscape today.

After all, the iconic vocal format has provided viewers with countless great moments over the past 20 years - whether performances that last forever or vocal performances that make your ears ache.

Next year there will be a shift in the shaft for DSDS – with the start of the big anniversary season on January 14, 2023, the legendary show will say goodbye.

After the finale of season 18 on April 3, 2021, Dieter Bohlen's DSDS career actually ended – a tearful farewell for a true TV veteran.

However, his place is by no means vacant, because with Schlager legend Florian Silbereisen (41) there was still a big name at the helm.

But it shouldn't stay that way.

After just one season – which didn't seem to have the same magic as previous editions of the vocal competition – showmaster Flori had already got rid of the cool new job and in 2023 the following applies: "Bohlen is back."

Although the final DSDS season and the associated TV comeback by Dieter Bohlen is a real major TV event, the premiere episode in the TV program faces a lot of competition.

Because on January 14, 2023, "The Great Schlager Farewell", a new ARD format with ex-juror Florian Silbereisen, will run at the same time.

Two top shows in one evening - can it end well?

The two music icons did not meet in "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" - it seems as if they are now meeting in a tough quota duel.

It is difficult to say who will win the numbers contest.

On the one hand, Dieter Bohlen's return should draw many passionate DSDS viewers in front of the screens, on the other hand, Florian Silbereisen's "Schlagerabschied" is guaranteed to be very emotional.

Because Schlager icon Jürgen Drews (77) ends his brilliant career there with a last spectacular performance after 50 years.

Seeing one of the biggest German hit stars of all time on stage for the last time - most fans certainly don't want to miss that.

To honor oneself for the last time in such a big TV show - one can hardly imagine a more brilliant musical farewell.

Jürgen Drews will also have powerful prominent support at the "Schlagerabschied" because Maite Kelly (43), Roland Kaiser (70) and Mickie Krause (52) are said to be on the impressive guest list.
