A police trainer, already targeted by complaints of sexual harassment, was arrested on Tuesday, December 6 in Toulouse for similar facts and will be tried in May for this case, AFP learned from the prosecution, Thursday, December 8.
This 53-year-old police officer "
was arrested because he had followed a lady in a car to her home and made sexual remarks to her
", declared AFP Samuel Vuelta-Simon, prosecutor of the Republic of Toulouse.
He will be tried on May 24, 2023 for harassment with sexist and sexual remarks, and is placed under judicial supervision by then.

The defendant was already the subject of ten complaints for similar facts, which occurred within the school of the national police of Toulouse where he officiated as a trainer.
These complaints are still being investigated.
The investigation within the school “
made it possible to discover other victims
”, specified the prosecutor who evokes “
remarks of a sexual or sexist nature
”, while an investigation by the IGPN is also underway.
At the time of his arrest on Tuesday, the 50-year-old had been on sick leave since April, the date corresponding to the filing of the complaints.
