Voluntary youth and civil groups participated today in cleaning and removing traces of the vandalism that affected the As-Suwayda governorate building by a group of outlaws last Sunday.

About 70 young men and women from the leadership of the Revolutionary Youth Union branch, the city and professional associations, the student units and the neighborhoods, as well as the volunteers of the Chrysanthemum Team for Community Development, in addition to the members and workers of the Salkhad City Council, took the initiative to support the workshops of the As-Suwayda City Council, the Directorate of Technical Services and a number of service institutions with cleaning work and removing the rubble resulting from operations Vandalism and burning of most of the building's offices.

A number of participants indicated that they came today as part of the community to help in the ongoing cleaning work along with the rest of the workshops, confirming their condemnation and rejection of these acts of vandalism and the assault on public property and institutions that belong to citizens and serve them.

Civil and economic activities and free professions have expressed their willingness to contribute to the rehabilitation and restoration of the governorate building and to provide what is necessary, each according to his ability, to return to providing his services in an optimal manner, at a time when the As-Suwayda governorate announced its continuation to provide its services at its headquarters despite the damage caused by the acts of vandalism according to the capabilities. available.
