The complainant against Rabbi Tao: "Great pressures are put on me and my family members" (Walla system!)
Nahum Pachanik, a poet and emotional therapist known in Gush Etzion, published a post on Facebook today (Friday) in which he revealed that he was summoned on Sunday to testify before Lahav 433 investigators about Rabbi Zvi Tau's case, which was opened following complaints about sexual offenses he allegedly committed against women.
This, following a case of injury that he knows personally.
"I was summoned to testify because I personally know another case of injury to Rabbi Tao," he wrote.
"I don't know how it got to them, but it seems they know how to work. It's not a direct attack on the rabbi, but rather support for his student who hurt and abused his wife. I'm not allowed to give details at this stage."
"Because of this close acquaintance, I was not at all surprised when the brave Nechama Tanah and public representative revealed her personal story. Most of the time of the investigation I found myself explaining to the two investigators, intelligent guys who asked smart questions and asked for answers and mainly wanted to understand, how can a person be both a great tzaddik and a sexual abuser ", he added.
"It doesn't sit well with the heart and rightly so. We want to live in a logical world where evil is separated from good. It turns out that life is much more complex. It turns out that light and darkness are used in a mixture."

Already three weeks ago, the police investigators collected details from senior rabbis in religious Zionism - Rabbi David Stav, who heard the testimonies of the complainants in the case, and Rabbi Yuval Sharlo, who also accompanies the complainants.
The two rabbis are not suspects in the case.
This, in an attempt to condense the investigation materials, according to the guidance of the prosecutor's office.
"A nice guy from the police came to me and I told him what I know, which is what I heard directly from the complaints," Rabbi Stav told Walla.
Since the publication of the suspicions against him, Rabbi Tao has avoided responding to the allegations.
