The house of an Oberhachinger was broken into on Thursday afternoon.
The perpetrators pried open the kitchen window and stole cash and jewelry.
Oberhaching
– According to the police, the dawn on Sauerlacher Straße in Oberhaching came on Thursday between 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.
The resident, a man between the ages of 70 and 80, was out of the house at the time and was surprised when he returned home that the front door could not be opened - it was locked from the inside.
The Oberhachinger could only open his own front door with the help of a screwdriver and then found that there had been a break-in.
According to the police, one or more unknown perpetrators pried open the kitchen window and searched some rooms of the family home.
They stole cash and jewelry, then fled again undetected, presumably also through the kitchen window.
Commissariat 53 (burglary offenses) took over the investigation and launched an appeal for witnesses: Who made any observations in the area of Sauerlacher Straße in the specified period that could be related to this incident?
Please send relevant information to the Munich Police Headquarters, Commissariat 53 (Tel. 089/29100), or to another police station.
