Geretsried – The sellers at the 33 stands of the Christmas market on Karl-Lederer-Platz in Geretsried were delighted with the large crowds.
On the second weekend in Advent, a large selection of gift ideas and culinary specialties attracted many visitors.
In addition to decorative items, glass balls, knitwear, Christmas floral arrangements, toys and salt dough figures, the culinary variety was also convincing.
Delicacies from the Transylvanian Saxons, the Egerländer Gmoi, the Greek community, the Germans from Hungary and the local partnership association Geretsried-Chamalières invited you to nibble and taste.
Variety was required for the young audience in Geretsried
Of course, we also thought of the youngest visitors.
Girls and boys could decorate gingerbread men together with the youth council in the small meeting room of the town hall.
The Gartenberger bunker brass band, the recorder and vocal ensemble of the Geretsried music school, the Quattro Musica wind quartet, the hunting horn players of the Wolfratshausen hunting district group and the alphorn players provided the right musical framework.
