In this second weekend of December,
Le Figaro
has selected for you a list of events to discover in Nantes and in the rest of the Loire-Atlantique.
From a fun visit to a major Nantes monument to a classical music concert, to the magical illuminations, there is something for everyone.
A night at the Château
Saturday, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., children and their parents are invited to the famous Château des ducs de Bretagne.
They will have the opportunity to discover the monument in a fun way, accompanied by elves, musicians, or even Santa Claus.
Games, cartoons or even mini-concerts are also on the program.
Admission is free, within the limits of available places, but an arrival from 3 p.m. or after 6 p.m. is recommended, due to the traditionally high attendance.
A Christmas Hike
On Saturday, the FFRandonnée Loire-Atlantique invites residents to its 22nd edition of the Rando de Noël.
The start is given at 6 p.m. in Nantes, at the Talensac Market, where the "Le Grand Machin Chose" brass band will offer entertainment in the company of stilt walkers.
The event is free.
Supplies, hot drinks and soups will be distributed to the motivated.
The 5km course passes in particular by the banks of the Loire, Place Graslin, the General Audibert bridge, the Bouffay district, to end at Place Félix Fournier.
An ideal sporting route to warm up in this period of great cold.

A game in virtual reality
This Friday, a new virtual reality room opened in the center.
The opportunity to go for a walk with friends or family.
Helmet on the eyes and remote controls in the hands, the adventure proposed by Virtual Room resembles a virtual escape game.
Equipped with a headset and remote controls in hand, players have 45 minutes to complete a mission.
See you Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., or Sunday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., at 14 Rue du Chapeau Rouge, in Nantes.

The illuminations of La Baule
