12 more local cases of new mutated strains were found, and 3 more cases of XBB and 9 cases of BQ.1.1 substrain were found. 140 cases of BQ.1.1 subfamily.


In addition, 23 more people died today, the seven-day average death toll rose to 20.1, and the cumulative death toll was 10,914.


Summary of today's epidemic situation:


-13,924 confirmed cases, a slight decrease of 3% from yesterday.


- There were 647 imported cases, accounting for 4.65% of the overall cases, accounting for 3.81% of inbound tourists, and a seven-day average of 4.97%.


-Death cases increased by 23, the cumulative death toll was 10,914, and the cumulative death rate dropped slightly to 0.49%.


-The number of local cases of new mutated virus strains increased by 12, including 3 more cases of XBB to 120, and 9 more cases of BQ.1.1 to 140.

Among the samples received by the Public Health Laboratory Service of the Department of Health from November 30 to December 6 for verification tests of local cases, the Omicron variant virus strains BA.2.12.1 and BA.4/BA.5 substrains (including Suspected cases) accounted for 0% and about 64.24% (seven-day moving average ratio) respectively.
