A 68-year-old robbed seven shops, but the last shop in Moosburg was his undoing.
Or a courageous employee.
Moosburg
– Two police officers who were walking in the Moosburg area on Thursday afternoon were approached by a fashion store employee as she was chasing an alleged shoplifter from a safe distance.
When checking the 68-year-old, the officials actually found a jacket that had just been stolen from the shop.
Other stolen goods – mainly clothing – worth more than 3,000 euros also appeared in his parked car.
(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)
During his interrogation, the suspect admitted the theft and also named the seven shops that were damaged.
The man, who has no permanent residence in Germany, was released after payment of a security deposit in consultation with the public prosecutor's office.
