The Jockey Club’s annual key event, the Longines Hong Kong International Race, will be held at Sha Tin Racecourse next Sunday (11th) and will be broadcast overseas to more than 80 countries and regions.
The Jockey Club held a welcome dinner this evening (9th). Many leaders in the global horse racing and equestrian circles and well-known overseas horse owners gathered early and presented the 2022 Longines World Best Jockey Award to jockey McDowell.

The Jockey Club stated that the Longines Hong Kong International Race has always been known as the "World Turf Championship". A number of senior executives of the Jockey Club hold important positions in these organizations and will be responsible for hosting and chairing the above-mentioned meeting.
