The years follow each other and are not alike for “Top Chef”.
The unreleased fourteenth season of the show should surprise viewers.
If last year's jurors - Hélène Darroze, Philippe Etchebest, Paul Pairet and Glenn Viel - remain present, one of them will have a different role.
The leader, who has won three straight victories, will not have a brigade at the start of the program.

A special Hélène Darroze event
She will only be present on the show to taste and judge the playoffs.
Then, she will then create the surprise by re-entering the competition from the quarter-finals by accompanying a previously eliminated participant.
To choose it, M6 will broadcast a new program called “The Hidden Brigade” (similar to “The Secret Kitchen” introduced this year in “The Best Pastry Chef”).
In this program of the second part of the evening, the outgoing of the day will challenge the candidate who left the previous week.
Hélène Darroze will select the best and coach them for the end of the competition.

Hélène Darroze and Philippe Etchebest respond
No last chance
But this will not be the only novelty.
From now on, there will no longer be three events either, but only two with the disappearance of the last chance.
The first will be qualifying and the second eliminatory.
On this second challenge, the guest chefs will be able to qualify a certain number of candidates.
The jurors will choose from the last two the one who deserves to be saved.
Fifteen new participants will be part of this new season (two will be eliminated at the end of the first episode).
Among them, we will discover, for the first time in the competition, two brothers with very different cuisines.

The restaurant war with the brigade leaders
During the season, participants will have to take part in more than thirty events that promise great surprises.
The white box – the counterpart to the black box (which will be vegetarian this year) – will honor the five senses.
The traditional restaurant war will still be present with, as usual, three restaurants, but with a new feature: two of them will be set up by the candidates and the third by the brigade leaders Paul Pairet, Philippe Etchebest and Glenn Viel !

A technical challenge with the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France will also be on the menu to celebrate the centenary of the institution.
Each episode will now have a culinary theme such as street food, family dishes or technique.
Big names in gastronomy but also talented chefs on the rise will come to challenge candidates such as Pierre Gagnaire, Stéphanie Le Quellec, Nina Metayer, Yann Couvreur, Guillaume Sanchez or even Christopher Coutanceau.
