Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed with his Kyrgyz counterpart Sadir Japarov the need to complement national measures to ensure information security with unified procedures with international partners, which will lead to more cooperation in the international community.
A joint statement of the two presidents said after their meeting in Bishkek today: “Information technology has become transboundary in nature, and therefore national measures to ensure information security must be completed with unified procedures at the bilateral, multilateral, regional and global levels, given the effective response to the challenges and threats it faces, as information security It requires joint efforts of the entire international community.
The statement indicated that the heads of state welcome the progress made by the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Collective Security Treaty Organization and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in deepening cooperation in the field of international information security and recognizing the need to increase practical interaction in these regional organizations on the basis of existing agreements between them.
