The 62-year-old himself was arrested in Kitzbühel, where he has been cooking for some time.

According to a neighbor who wishes to remain anonymous, "an incredible number of police officers in front of and behind the house" were on duty around 6 a.m. on Wednesday.

She was unable to see whether any weapons were being carried out.

"He was a friendly roommate" in the apartment building, explains the neighbor of the alleged Reich citizen, who had lived in the three-room apartment with a lake view for ten years.

The 62-year-old Heppner is divorced and lives alone here.

However, this is rather sporadic.

The chef probably lived in Austria.

"He traveled a lot for work," says the neighbor.

We kept talking to each other in the garden.

He was part of a nice household.

"There never was anything."

When she heard about the Reichsbürger allegations, she was flabbergasted and still couldn't believe it.

"I'm terribly sorry for him." He was a valued neighbor.

He is now in custody.

In the circle of the group that has now been raised, Heppner was apparently supposed to play a major role.

According to the Attorney General's press release, the cook was to be on the senior staff of the "military arm" the group wanted to install.

Incidentally, the daughter of the 62-year-old is in a relationship with the Austrian soccer star David Alaba (Real Madrid, ex-FC Bayern).
