The weather will be generally variable and cold over the whole country with some sleet near the Channel coasts and a little snow in Brittany.
In
Corsica
, the weather will be very unstable with heavy stormy rain.
Mistral and Tramontane will rise and it will be cold in the
south-east
of the country.
Temperatures
: frosts will be widespread with -4 to 0°C.
The maximum would go up to 10 to 13°C near the Mediterranean.
This remains 3 to 4°C below seasonal averages.
Sunday: risk of snow near the Channel coast
The cold is increasing in a generalized way, but with beautiful clearings.
Scattered snow showers may occur near the Channel coast and on the Savoies to the plain.
In
Brittany
and
Hauts-de-France
, the snow could stick to the ground.
Between Sunday evening and Monday morning, snowfall could become widespread in Hauts-de-France.
In the
South-East
, the mistral and the westerly wind between Corsica and the continent will blow very hard and the feeling will be icy.

Temperatures
: the cold will be marked with widespread frosts in the morning, even on the shores of the Mediterranean.
It will be from 0° to -5°C in general, sometimes even -10°C.
In the afternoon, the maximum would vary from 1 to 4°C in the East to 10°C near the Mediterranean and 13°C over the Aquitaine basin where mild air could manage to infiltrate.
On average, we will be 5°C below normal for the season.
