On Wednesday (December 7th) Lisa Mittrücker presented the ZDF program "Today - in Germany" in a pink miniskirt.
For "Tagesschau" spokeswoman Dagmar Berghoff (79) a no-go.
Mainz – Did Lisa Mittrücker suspect that with her modern outfit she would draw the anger of "Tagesschau" legend Dagmar Berghoff?
The edition of "heute - in Deutschland" on Wednesday at 2 p.m. on ZDF now provides for a "miniskirt" discussion.
Lisa Mittrücker: Modern journalist with colorful outfits on ZDF
Since 2020 she can be seen in front of the camera as a presenter on "heute - in Deutschland".
The journalist previously reported as a reporter for ZDF, including the Hamburg elections in 2015 for the magazine "ZDFheute".
From the start, Mittrücker opted for modern, colorful outfits.
As early as August 2021, for example, the news anchor wore a “relatively” short summer dress.
In another 2022 edition, Mittrücker wore a black leather skirt.
All outfits that are contemporary.

But the pink mini skirt that Mittrücker wore on Wednesday on the show about the Germany-wide raids has now triggered criticism from the former "Tagesschau" spokeswoman Dagmar Berghoff.
She said on bild.de:
"I find a short skirt or deep neckline inappropriate for a news program."

ZDF positioned itself behind Mittrücker and backed its spokeswoman:
"There is less an official dress code than there is an awareness that fashion
is a moderator," a ZDF spokesman told bild.de.

Dagmar Berghoff had other requirements during her time at ARD.
"Everyone as they can.
I was always instructed to dress as discreetly and modestly as possible.”
